ABOUT RNAJ

RNA Japan

Our branch has been established for over 40 years, created to support visiting British Navy Ships and their Ships Company.

We currently have a membership of over 30, with members enjoying exclusive access to Visiting Royal Navy Ships and black tie events attended by Commonwealth Embassy Staff and serving officers.

The RNA

With over 20,000 members across 370 branches in the UK and overseas, we are a family of current and former Naval Service personnel, relatives and supporters of our country’s Royal Navy.

Whether we are catching up with friends at our regular social events; fundraising; advising on welfare and employment matters, or just providing an arm around the shoulder, our natural willingness to help others stems from the tradition and camaraderie that only Naval Service life can instill.

Everything we do is inextricably linked to our core values:

Charities we support

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, during the period of Remembrance.

We pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed during this time.

Proactive and forward-looking, we also seek ways to prevent issues becoming problems.

Through funding, collaboration, research and advocacy, we tackle the root causes of seafarer hardship and disadvantage in the UK and around the world.

The Seafarers' Charity makes a life-changing impact in troubled times. Our grants to organisations support those who work – or have worked – at sea, and their families.

Atlantic Pacific’s unique Lifeboat in a Box lifeboat station empowers communities around the world prone to drowning, flooding and natural disasters by providing them with a custom-built lifeboat station and purpose-built lifeboat. Along with Search and Rescue training, and boatbuilding expertise, so that when the unbearable strikes, a lifeboat and crew are strategically positioned to help rescue those in need..
